Working Principle

The cooling pad system works on a natural and extremely efficient thermodynamic principle: cooling air through water evaporation. The process takes place as follows:

A water pump (powered at 380V in industrial systems) raises clean water to the top of the pads, constantly and uniformly wetting the entire corrugated cellulose structure.

Exhaust fans at the opposite end of the hall create negative pressure (tunnel effect), forcing hot and dry outside air to be absorbed into the hall through these wet pads.

As the hot air passes through the wet channels of the pad, the water evaporates instantly, absorbing thermal energy from the air.

The result is fresh air, filtered from dust and considerably cooler (temperature can drop up to 10-15°C depending on external relative humidity), which is distributed uniformly to the birds.

Product Description

Evaporative cooling pads (Cooling Pads) are the heart of the summer climate control system in any modern poultry farm. They are made of special cellulose paper with honeycomb structure, chemically treated to quickly absorb water, prevent structural degradation and resist humid environments. The geometric shape of the corrugations is precisely calculated to offer the largest contact surface between air and water, thus maximizing cooling efficiency with minimal airflow resistance.

Maximum cooling efficiency

Thanks to the crossed design of the corrugation angles (e.g. 45°/45° for model 7090), the air spends more time in contact with water, ensuring a drastic temperature drop.

Durability and resistance

The cellulose paper is treated with special resins. It does not deform, does not soften excessively and has a long service life.

Natural filtration

In addition to cooling, the pads act as a filter, stopping dust particles and impurities from outside air.

Customization options

Available in multiple color variants (Standard Brown, Green, Black or mixed colors) that can offer additional anti-algae and anti-fungal protection (especially those treated on the edge).

Purchase flexibility

Can be ordered as individual replacement pads or as a complete cooling wall (Cooling Pad Wall), which includes aluminum frame, water distribution pipes and industrial water pump (380V).
