Automatic feed transport from silo to secondary lines
Working Principle
The main feed line has the role of automatically transferring feed from the silo or main storage hopper (usually located at the end of the hall or outside) to the secondary feeding lines inside the farm. The process is fully automated:
- Feed from the large capacity hopper falls gravitationally into the transport tube
- The three-phase electric motor rotates a spiral (auger) inside the tube, which pushes the feed at a constant rate
- When feed reaches the secondary hoppers of the interior lines and fills them, a high-sensitivity sensor detects the maximum level and automatically stops the motor. When the level drops, the sensor restarts the system, ensuring continuous flow and eliminating waste or manual intervention

Installation Utilities Required
To put the main feed line into operation, you need:
- Three-phase electrical supply: Stable 380V current source for powering the drive motor
- Command and control panel: To integrate the motor and level sensor in an automated circuit (so that the sensor can command motor stop/start)
- Installation space: Adequate space at the end of the hall for assembling and supporting the main hopper, which, at maximum capacity, can weigh up to one ton
- Fixing/support system: Chains, rods or cables for suspending and perfectly straight alignment of the feed tubes (75 mm or 90 mm) along the route
